We leave Jan. 4th for a long day of traveling.  We leave Boston and fly to Mexico. There is a long lay over in Mexico,  eleven hours, then we fly to Quito at 1:17 in the morning. We land at 7:00 am. Our first night we will stay at Hotel San Francisco de Quito. It is in the Old Town section of Quito. After that, we'll figure it out as we go.  I'll return Feb. 11 th. My first traveling post will be on January 5th. Till then happy trails to you.

Let the Adventure Begin

Last year I spent the month of January in Argentina with AL and had a wonderful experience
visiting the country.
This year's escapade will be to Ecuador.
It was my son's favorite country in South America when he visited
and since announcing that I was going I have had several people tell me about their wonderful experiences in the country.
I will be traveling with AL again. We did not kill each other on the last trip
and thought we'd give it another go.
There is no set plan other than the first night in the capital, Quito.
It was fun to blog last year and post some of the paintings I did.
I plan to do the same this year. I hope you'll take a moment during the month to follow me
 and AL as we discover Ecuador
